Tuning In: My Favorite Podcasts You Need to Listen To

I’ve never been one of those people that listens to podcasts on the daily. However, when I’m out on a walk, a long car ride, or just looking for something to listen to, I’ll put on one of my favorites. I started out listening to The History Chicks when I was a runner. It was interesting and distracted me from realizing how much further I had to go or how tired I was feeling. The 7 podcasts below are ones that I personally enjoy, let’s see if you agree!

The History Chicks

In about an hour, Beckett Graham and Susan Vollenweider engage in a conversation about numerous centuries of past events. The History Chicks honors extraordinary women throughout history, from ancient eras to the present day, in lively episodes that incorporate thorough research, references to popular culture, and occasional digressions into unexpected topics. I love learning about the lesser known history.

Get ready recaps of crime stories with Chris Nathan and Amy Townsend in under 30 minutes! This podcast is perfect for those with a busy schedule who want to stay engaged in solving mysteries. The unique format allows you to enjoy intriguing crime tales in bite-sized pieces, making it easy to jump back in whenever you have time.  

UnF*ck Your Brain

I find these to be extremely calming and centering.
