If you haven’t been here before, welcome! Feel free to check out my about page to learn more about BBB. I started this blog in July 2024. I felt a need to put my thoughts out there and do something creative. I spoke with my therapist about it and decided it would be therapeutic for me to give it a try. I didn’t have a concrete plan. All I knew was I wanted to remain anonymous. I’m a fairly private person and also wanted to see where I could take this venture without the assistance of friends and family.

My first post was a happenstance situation that I felt others could relate to. The following posts have been a mod podge of topics that I hoped would help generate more traffic. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed writing every post, but I also know that some topics get more views than others. More recently, I’ve been trying to figure out the direction I want BBB to go in. (I wrote a post about it here.) I’ll be honest. I’m still struggling with being my authentic self and disregarding what I think people want to read about. I have tried to write less sterile posts, but I worry about coming across as unprofessional or uneducated. But I think there are plenty of us out there that want to find someone/something to relate to- something we can take less seriously and enjoy for what it is.

For 2025, I want to present the Babbling Babe Blog in more authentic way. Other than spell-check, I don’t plan to change how I initially write posts. How I think about topics will be how you read them. I have already updated my about page to reflect more of my personality and changed my home page photo to relate more to the vibe I want to exude. I also plan to write about topics that have impacted my personal life in one way or another. I hope that putting myself out there more will positively affect the people that are reading, and the future direction of the blog.
